Exterior

The all-new 2020 Subaru Outback sports a new exterior design that is both bold and purposeful. The rugged qualities of this authentic adventurer shine through in the aggressive front fascia, cutting-edge front LED headlights and sweeping rear LED taillights. The overall stance of the vehicle is wider and more planted, while improved aerodynamics help to improve efficiency and stability. The high ground clearance and generous glass area complete the picture, emphasizing that the Outback features a commanding a view of the road—any road.

The cargo-carrying capacity of the all-new Outback gets a big boost courtesy of the standard roof rails with swing-in-place crossbars. Redesigned tie-down holes now create the added versatility needed for a wider variety of gear, while the crossbars can be moved forward or back to accommodate items of different lengths. The roof rails on the Premier trim level feature slick silver accents.

Interior

The starting point for the completely redesigned interior of the all-new Outback begins under the skin with the Subaru Global Platform. More robust than ever, this new platform sets the stage for a quieter cabin with more space for passengers and their gear.
